Standard Agent Agreement

1. Scope of Agreement:
DJ hearby employs Agent and agent hearby accepts employment as the DJ's exclusive booking agent, throughout the United Kingdom and world-wide with respect to DJ services and management.
Duties of DJ:

(A) DJ agrees to inform agent of any proposals, bookings made from other club manager's, in-house booker or promoter/s

(B) It is in the DJ's best interest to inform agent of any fees offered by club manager, in-house booker or promoter (Agent should be able to negotiate a higher fee for DJ)

(D) DJ cannot accept work without agent consent

(E) DJ to give advance notice, if unable, due to illness and has to cancel booking

(F) In relation to (E) DJ is to provide doctors certificate, as proof of sickness.

2. Duties of Agent:
(A) Agent agrees to use reasonable effects in the performance of the following duties: Assist DJ in obtaining offers of and negotiate engagements for DJ.

(B) Agent will and manage bookings, fees and all correspondence relating to booking on DJ's behalf.

(C) Agent will reasonably promote and publicise the DJ and those engagements produced by agent.

(D) Agent will maintain office like services, where the agent provides DJ with itinerary of proposed booking (Venue, location, name of promotion, booker, estimation time on journey, time-slot, travel cost, fee, date of event and provisions)

(E) Agent to be in regular contact with DJ

3. Rights of Agent
(A) Agent may render similar services to others and may engage in other businesses and ventures.

(B) DJ will promptly refer to agent all communications, written or oral, received by or on behalf of DJ relating to the services and appearances to play at gig's.

(C) DJ shall give written notice to Agent at the time of signing this Agreement or within (3) days upon the employment of a personal manager and shall provide in the notice the full name, address and phone number of the manager.

(D) Agent may publicise the fact that the Agent is the exclusive booking agent and representative of DJ.
